Integral Accounting Enterprise 2003's multi-tier design separates the Interface (Presentation Layer) from the Business Logic and the Database Layer, so the system can be easily adapted to environments or scaled across multiple systems right out of the box. 

The Multi-tier design of the Integral Accounting Enterprise application allows for unlimited scalability. You can run the entire application on one server, run each layer on it's own server, or even split the application tiers across multiple groups of servers as your data processing needs increase. Plus, there are no per-processor, per-server, or per-user fees for using our application.

The Multi-tiered design also allows different presentation layers to be used with the software without changing the business logic of the system. The system's business logic is complete written in SQL Server stored procedures and comes with the software.

Integral Accounting Enterprise 2003 contains many major enterprise-level features that are necessary for running large complex organizations. The system supports an unlimited amount of companies, and an unlimited amount of divisions within each company, and an unlimited amount of departments within each division, each with an unlimited amount of users.

Each division also supports an unlimited amount of Warehouses within each department, and each warehouse can support an unlimited amount of bins. Each Company / Division / Department within the system is it's own business entity with the ability to manage their own ledger. 

Integral Accounting Enterprise 2003 also supports the use of multiple currencies, and allows any transaction to be entered in any currency. An exchange rate table can be managed in the system and can be kept updated with the latest exchange rate information. The system also automatically tracks realized gains & losses on foreign currency transactions.

Along with all of the basic accounting features you can see summarized in the table to the right, also features a shopping cart completely integrated into the accounting package. When an order is entered through the shopping cart, the shopping cart posts a receivable to the AR, posts the order in the order database, debits Inventory and puts customer information into the customer tables.

The shopping cart also retrieves rates from UPS and FedEx in real time, and can create a E-Commerce Site "on-the-fly" from the items in the Enterprise item database. The system also has a screen where customers can check order status, retrieve tracking numbers and re-print invoices for their records.

Features Overview 

Integral Accounting Enterprise 2003 is designed using Multi-Tier Dot Net 1.1 Architecture, which means that all of the different program functions are separated into tiers, and each of these separate tiers of the system can be run on a different machine or on a group of different machines for performance and scalability.

The system also has multiple presentation layers implemented in different languages, and each communicating to the database engine  through the business logic layer, which was implemented using Web Services. Implementing this tier as a web service allows the presentation layers to transparently interact with the back-end accounting engine either over a LAN, WAN, VPN, or the Internet.

Using tiers and web services also allows all of the presentation layers to interact with the accounting engine simultaneously , you can have multiple copies of the different presentation layers all interacting with the same accounting engine at the same time.

Full Source Code and Distribution Rights

When you purchase the Integral Accounting Enterprise 2003 product, you also get full rights to customize the product and re-sell it to your end-users. You can either customize the program for a vertical market and resell it to them, or integrate the system with your own custom solution and resell it to your existing user base. 

Integral Accounting Enterprise 2003 only uses controls that either come with Microsoft Visual Studio Dot Net or are completely written by STFB Inc. This is to ensure that there are no licensing and distribution problems when you customize and want to re-distribute the application to your clients.
